The Christmas season is officially upon us. And with that, television becomes flooded with movies celebrating the occasion. Let me know your favorite Christmas/Holiday movies that you enjoy during the season. Here are a few of mine.

I'm Going with Hook. Came out for christmas or right around Christmas. The more I look back and listen back, it is truly a masterpiece. I'm always puzzled why it got so many bad reviews, even though money spoke otherwise. I never really ran into anyone who hated it only loved it. But look online and it gets trashed. Critics are in need of more happy thoughts, though I look at my life and I guess I can say the same..... I want to watch this movie, anyone want in?

All good stuff fellas. And I'm in too Danny! After we watch the movie, maybe we can play the game as well. A Christmas Story is also a great choice Harry. I'm pretty sure they still play it on Christmas Eve for 24 hours. That shows its popularity. And I love that leg lamp...classic.

Sweet. THe game is also a great piece of art in my opinion. ITs rather easy but thats much better then really hard and unplayable. But defiantly, I'll bring the game back and the VHS is at home. YEah were going old school, VHS and the SNES. Now that I think of it I also got Hook for NES as well...not as good but still.

I must say that I don't think I ever thought of Hook as a Christmas movie. But now that you mention it, yes, it is pretty great. I've always had a soft spot for it. And it freaks me out whenever I see Jack all grown up.
The Santa Clause is also pretty great. Sadly, I have not seen the 3rd one.
Love Actually is my most favourite, sugar plum-enchanted, chestnuts-roasting movie. And do NOT give me this "chick flick" thing. B/c even though it is a love story, the best part, in my opinion, is the Bill Nighy storyline. And every guy I know who was dragged to see it ended up loving it. Besides, it is inherently British. You can't beat that.
The other holiday movie I love is Rudolph's Shiny New Year. It will always be my favourite and I cannot ring in a new year w/o watching it.
Oh, and as an add on, Elf. It just makes me smile and feel all hot chocolate-y inside.

My favorite Christmas movie has to be How the Grinch Stole Christmas. It has everything, nice music, nice animations, and a cute little dog with an antler on its head. Defiantly a classic.

Yeah Scrooged was really good. Liked it a lot. Just so you guys know when I put Jack Frost as one of my favs, I didn't mean that claymation one. I was speaking of the Michael Keaten live action movie where he dies and comes back as a snowman...just so you know...that is all.

yo jack frost sucked. Home alone stands the test of time, and technically, Die Hard is a Christmas movie.

The Michael Keaton one is the only one that ocurred to me. But now that you've said the word "claymation," I remember the other one. It's probably b/c I've only seen it once all the way through. I don't remember being a fan of it, though. I'll have to check ABC Family. Maybe it'll refresh my memory. Michael Keaton is also ducky.
