Hey everybody...place is pretty quiet in these days before the storm Just wanted to stop by and show another digital exhibition I recently finished for O-state. This one focuses on a prominent comic-weekly that was published towards the end of the nineteenth century, which originated in Columbus, but didn't really take off until a second start in Chi-town of course! The magazine is actually a really rare find, and how we were able to stumble upon these pieces is a really interesting story as well (you can read it in the "Lecture" part of the website). I've been coding it practically all summer. With delays coming up due to a lot of weird issues involving the content of the site, and of course all the back-and-forth trips between C-bus and Chicago for ISH production. But it's finally done now, so you should check it out! Comments welcome! cartoons.osu.edu/light_exhibit/
