So most of the time the theme of a show gets the attention. But I think that is some occasions the end song out shines the opening. The song im going to bring up doesn't quite beat it but it is not beaten. Because it comes from probably the greatest anime of all time, probably, which has THE best music of any anime of all time. Of course there is only one anime with that description and it is Cowboy Bebop's "The Real Folk Blues". Now the opening TANK! is also arguably the best in its category, openings. But I just hear The Real Folk Blues and it still gives me shivers. No joke, this song has just got it all. The feel I get is something hard to describe. If you haven't heard it go onto youtube or whatever and listen to it. What is our opinion on the song or any other end theme?

I ilke The Real Folk Blues. I haven't seen Cowboy Bebop yet (it's on my to-do list!) so I don't exactly associate this song as an end theme. But I completely understand what you're saying. Outlaw Star is my favorite anime by far and like you said, the opening does get our attention but I'm sorry, the ending theme for this show, Hiro no Tsuki, beats it. It always had this calming effect to me and I dunno, I just liked it better. And I still like it. Speaking of ending themes. Guess what! I'll just tell you. Someone's favorite band (by someone I mean me) plays a song as an ending theme too! I guess they are having a Full metal Alchemist season 2 or something crazy like that. It's called Uso and it's AWESOME. Shut up. So yeah, ending theme's are the s h i t. Word! lol

Even though the opening of Elfen Lied was amazing, I feel like the ending theme, Be Your Girl, should get some credit too. It's not better than Lilium, its just totally different and adds a whole different feel, so I figured it should at least get some honorable mentions.
