If any television show is going to be brought up and discussed to any length, I feel that I owe it to myself and all other like-minded individuals to bring attention to the perfection that is Arrested Development. If you have watched this masterpiece, you will know where I am coming from. Some of you might say 'well, I watched it a while ago, but i really didn't get into it." Well shut up you, and go buy all three season as soon as you can and get your mind right. This is a show you must commit all of your focus for to catch all of the genius humor. If you haven't had the chance to watch the show, I am almost jealous of you, because you have 53 episodes that you get to watch for the first time, and then a second and third time. Who's with me? Come on!
Also, a fun fact, the name mister manager is from Arrested Development.

The pic speaks for itself... If you have not seen this show ... u need to be shot!!!! ~Publicist~ Wow, you're extra special. I don't know if you noticed, but he's from an Ann Arbor, MI. He has no clue about what you're talking about with your St. Victor's night. So please make your comments about other people's grade schools on another forum...or hell, where somebody actually knows what you're talking about. Also, how come you are like NEVER on topic? The guy is talking about Arrested Development, and you're posting pics about Seinfeld. Geez, do we need to make a manual or something for you? On topic though Arrested Development was a fantastic sitcom, and I always felt a certain sense of anger against the industry that it never caught on like it should have. I also hear they've got an Arrested Development movie in the works, so maybe it's legacy will finally get its time to shine...I doubt it though. Good thread!

Well I would expect as much from someone with -1 karma.
Buuuut, yeah, there are many possible reasons this fire did not spread. Poor marketing, bad time slots, whateva. I didn't watch it when it was on TV, so I can really only blame myself.
As for the film, it is still just in rumor status according to IMDB. Most of the actors have said they would be on board, with the exception of michael cera. (He said he wouldn't want to see it as a film, unless it stood up to all the expectation that will come with it) But I think that there will be a film someday. If you've seen the last episode, they drop a not so subtle hint that it is a good possibility. fingers crossed!

i've watched i think like the first few episodes. i get it. the humor and all, but i feel it's a one note pony. (is that even a phrase?) however i feel with those who have any appreciation towards film making, acting in general, even humor, would definitely respect it for being so unique and well made. ... mind you this is all based on the one episode with something like a lemonade stand and a fire and someone liking his cousin. so this could all be completely wrong, but i don't apologize if it is. if you want to talk about a show with depth, with meaning, with badassness.... yea i'm referring to the sopranos.. holla back.
