This is awesome! Nice job bro! Also, I like that your url can be read as either Truth slaw or Truths law. The second sounds very enigmatic!

Someone looks deeper into things. But I can't say how often I'm going to write but be assured I'am planning on writing.

I was going to post this directly on your blog, but it wouldn't let me, because I don't have membership. So I'll copy and paste here: I just wanted to say I love the blog so far! You bring up some really awesome points in your assessment of The Dark Knight's popularity. I would like to add this reminds me of another film that came out almost 50 years ago, from the legendary mastermind Orson Welles. Yep, Citizen Kane. That movie was largely panned by critics, and ended up only winning one Oscar in the field of best screenplay adaptation, which Welles had to share with some other guy. Flash forward to today, and Citizen Kane is considered one of, if not the most important motion feature flicks to ever be developed. The cinematography, acting, story structure... everything is considered to have pioneered films of the modern era. Now, I'm not saying that Nolan is a modern day Welles (although I wouldn't necessarily disagree if it was said), but TDK is a very important film. It legitimizes comic books as a reputable source for film material, and proves it can be a genre of its own! Perhaps 50 years from now, when we look at the top 100 films list of all time, TDK will have it's rightful place in film history in the top 5.... 5. THE DARK KNIGHT 4. NOIR 3. I'M STILL HERE 2. OPERATION SOAPBOX 1. MEMOIRS OF A ROMANTIC

I also don't ave a membership so my response is going here too:
I really agree with what you are saying here. There are a lot of great movies that critics look down on for one reason or another, but they are still amazing stories. That's why so many "bad" films become cult classics, people see them for the great stories they are and not just as money making devices.

first of all,
i'm bummed you've been missing club meetings. lately, i've been pretty satisfied. hope to see you sometime soon though it sounds like we're on opposite schedules.
second of all, i find the way you listen to poetry...creating your own picture and own world around it to be extremely fascinating. mostly because i have never ever thought of it in that manner. the way you link art forms in your head, how you listen to music as you read is the same way. music as an artform as well. i suppose it goes to show how, i don't think this is the word i want but i'm going to use it anyway, artsy?. sure why not. it's kinda cool because if you eliminate your own interpretation of 'art' from the text that lies in front of you, there is still a world of meaning and depth. to be able to stretch that and use it in your own world is definitely something that will set you apart. or at least give you a personal input? sure. ps. don't keep saying that no one reads this. i'm not no one.

I love to hear feed back whenever I write and you all have been great. It is true now that I guess I'm not the only one reading it. I glad you find my way of Perceiving things interesting though it does get me into trouble. Whenever you think in a nontraditional way you always run the risk of missing what was intended. Even if what you come up with is cooler you still can miss the point. Keep reading because I believe I will be putting something up relatively soon. Thanks again.

Harry he was talking to you two, we are cool. Plus it is more of a joke than reality. Half the reason why I have a blog is for my teacher too look at. I know people actually look at it but it is more humorous to say that they don't.

So I just figured out how to subscribe to your blog through RSS. So now anytime you make an update, I get a nice little notification telling me so! I thought the review you did on Cradle Song by your professor was nicely done, it really makes me want to check it out one of these days when I get some spare time (<-- spare time...hah!) and I'm also digging your spiel on Chinese culture. Keep up the goodies, its fun seeing the inner workings of the VIP.

You warm my heart. Going that extra bit to be a subscriber. But yeah thanks. The book my teacher wrote was actually pretty sweet and I'm going to be reading it again in order to do something else...... I'll tell you later. The Chinese.....you should hear the audio I had to record for that class. We have to read from our books and being the person that I am I spiced them up. I'm horrible in speaking so I set up senerios too where the dialogue would fit in. The third time I did this I made up a show called the "Chinese Illiteracy Super Show". I had music from the NES game Excite Bike and a fake advertisement for my school. Its actually kind of funny with a bunch of poorly spoken Chinese in it. I don't know when I'm going to write next but hopefully soon. As for when are you going to have free time... real soon. Man just look at the trailer, its big time in no time.
