Come on now! Take it to the forums! Updates seem to be few and far between these days. As a regular visitor to this site, I would like to see a little more involvement from the PTS trio that I have grown to love. Coming to this site is like watching a flower bloom. Something I would like to see is more behind the scene footage. The teasers you have shown looked great, but I am interested in seeing how you guys are doing these action movies with such a low budget. I realize you can't give away too much of the film, but maybe if you have any extra footage of NOIR. The commentary was great, and it would be cool to see some of the complicated sequences broken down. These are just some things I like. -mistermanager Yes it's true, online updates have been pretty spread out for awhile. But for legitimate reasons! Things have been pretty hectic to say the least these past few weeks, and that's probably the biggest understatement I've said all year. The movie finally finished principle photography last weekend, a mere 5 hours before I moved back out from Chicago to Columbus. So now that things are somewhat settled in the new living arrangement, editing has begun and final construction on the Power Trio Studios redesign is in sight. One of the main reasons everything has taken so long is we're all now juggling school, work, web design and filming together, which can be pretty chaotic. But we promise, stick with us a few more weeks, the good stuff is coming. Trust us, we have not abandoned our friends and fans...and there's probably going to be a whole lot more once we pull the curtain back on what's been going on. That's a promise! As for "Rebel Without A Crew", that's the book by Robert Rodriguez right? It looked really good, I was thinking about picking myself up a copy and seeing the things he overcame on his way to the top. I'll definitely give it a peek over when I get some time! Thanks for sticking with us buddy, and I promise you great things are on their way.

Hey, the trailer looks very impressive. A big step up from NOIR. I'm looking forward to seeing the final product.

Is there going to be gun shots in I'm Still Here? It better not just cut to black this time. Or should I say cut to Noir! Booya!

Is there going to be gun shots in I'm Still Here? It better not just cut to black this time. Or should I say cut to Noir! Booya! lol, nice! I'm going to be honest, there still aren't gunshots yet in the film...mainly because the old video workstation did a horrendous job rendering them. However, the work around is executed much, much better this time. There are no cut to blacks nor gunshots, but the cinematography is filmed in such a manner that it doesn't interrupt the filming as brashly as it did in NOIR. On top of it all, there really aren't that many guns be fired in this film. The combat is kept very physical. However, I would like to say on this note. Expect I'M STILL HERE to be the last PTS film to have a work around for gun fire. The new editing machine is fully capable of rendering out awesome gunfire effects, and numerous other things. So...expect blood to fly and heads to roll from now on. HOORAY FOR VIOLENCE!

A friend gave me a bunch of muzzle flares, explosions, what have you, in a bundle called "Action Movie Essentials." They work kind of well if you work with them. I made this little vid as a practice last summer. vimeo.com/1701092If you like them, I don't know how I could give them to you, but they are out there.

Yeah, I think that package of effects were part of the Andrew Kramer (I think that's his name) set of effects for budget filmmakers. That guy is really, really good at doing cheap special effects. I was actually trying to see if there was a way I could get my hands on some of his effects and tutorial vids in the near future. He also runs a really good website here: www.videocopilot.net/He has up some cool free tutorials, and I believe he keeps his whole collection of digital assist tools for purchase there. Of course, some of it is kind of pricey, but it is definitely quality stuff!

If I knew how to post an image, I would post the dark knight poster. But something tells me you've already seen it...

Oh, and to post an image, all you need to do is take the url of the image, and place it between the images tag on the "add tags" bar. It's the third one over from the Youtube icon. ....I probably shouldn't have taught you that.

Hey fellas. I hadn't heard from you in a while on some of the other boards, so I popped by the website to see what's up. "I'm Still Here" launches in August? That's good. Congratulations.
I'm in NYC, so I can't make it out, but it would be great if you post lots of pictures and video from the event.

There's one of the few friendly faces from the otherwise hostile HV20/30/40 forums haha Yeah, I'M STILL HERE will be premiering August 1st at our old high school alma mater, and than a DVD release will be kicking in around October. There's definitely going to be a lot of post press media we're going to be releasing after the event, so definitely check back here later to check it out ;D Also, I don't know if you've seen it or not, but we've released the first 3 minutes (the opening montage) of the film on to the web, which you can see on the front page; or better yet, right here: vimeo.com/4882899So let us know what you think, when you've got a chance! Also! I've been meaning to post on the HV20 forums letting you know I've been completely digging the teaser trailers for your film Parallax! It looks really well done so far, and I'd love to see the finished product ! Are you planning a DVD, or web release in the near future? I'd definitely buy a copy! Oh, and thanks for joining!!!
